Why choose to work with me?
I love being a therapist because I have always been fascinated by people’s experiences, stories, and feelings. I strive to make genuine, meaningful connections with all of my clients so that they can feel comfortable being open and honest about the issues that have brought them to therapy.
I employ a relational approach and believe that the therapeutic relationship is the primary intervention in therapy. I also integrate psychodynamic and feminist frameworks into my clinical orientation, as well as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness based skills.
I have advanced clinical training in perinatal psychotherapy, CBT, and mindfulness and over twenty years of human services and counseling experience centered around community mental health services and perinatal/parenting support.
