About Cori

Why choose to work with me?

I love being a therapist because I have always been fascinated by people’s experiences, relationships, insights, and feelings. Every opportunity to explore how my clients become themselves through these channels is a welcome privilege.

I have a relational approach to therapy and think that people grow best through healthy, authentic connections. That’s why I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is what makes therapy effective.

I strive to make genuine, meaningful connections with all of my clients so that they feel comfortable being open and honest about the emotions and issues that have brought them to therapy.

I also integrate psychodynamic and feminist frameworks into my clinical orientation, as they allow the opportunity to explore patterns, feelings, and stories rooted in childhood experiences, generational trauma, cultural contexts, sexism, heteronormativity, and oppression.
Our work together will feel conversational and collaborative. Your thoughts, feelings, and experiences will be met with compassionate, supportive listening.
We will talk through and reflect on what feels hard and messy and sit with those feelings together. We’ll also work together on building self-reflection, coping, and communication skills in order to bolster your sense of self-empowerment, ease stress, and make life feel more sustainably manageable.
